A look inside: $7 million Lawrence Park mansion with a recording studio
If you have a musical inclination, 3 St. Aubyns Crescent could be the perfect home for you.
On sale for $7,488,000, the Lawrence Park mansion features an in-house recording studio designed by Pilchner Schoustalthe company behind Deadmau5’s home studios.
There’s also a state-of-the-art home theater system flanked by guitars. Estate agent Eileen Lasswell tells Daily Hive that the home’s basement is “like visiting an upscale resort”.
The home was custom built in 2016 and fully renovated by the current owners in 2019. With over 7,000 square feet of living space, Lasswell says it’s 10-15% larger than most homes. rebuilt in the region.
Combining contemporary and classic design, the home features 10 foot ceilings, custom millwork and luxurious finishes.
The expansive chef’s kitchen features an oversized pantry and service, stainless steel appliances, a center island with quartz counter tops and a wine fridge. There are also two dishwashers, two sinks and two ovens.
There are five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and two fireplaces throughout the home.
The backyard is truly an oasis in the city. There is a year-round saltwater pool with three waterfalls and an outdoor entertaining area with a gas fire pit, TV and built-in BBQ area.
“The landscaping is absolutely amazing,” says Lasswell.
The number of heated floors is impressive: the entrance, all the bathrooms, the laundry room, the exterior steps and part of the driveway. The garage is also heated. As Lasswell noted, the house “makes the winters more bearable.”
Unsurprisingly, the house has garnered a lot of attention since it was listed on June 13; there were an “unprecedented” number of showings, Lasswell said.
“Those ‘forever’ homes don’t come out often,” she says. “When they do, buyers react very positively and know they need to act quickly.”
