Country music recording artist Neal McCoy to play Palouse Empire Fairgrounds September 8, tickets go on sale June 15 | Local

COLFAX — Country music recording artist Neal McCoy will perform a special concert to open this year’s Palouse Empire Fair.

The two-time “Artist of the Year” will perform on the fairgrounds outside Colfax on Wednesday night, September 8. The fair returns for its four-day run the following day. The concert will take place on the rodeo grand pianos which have new stands.

McCoy’s hits include “Wink” and “The Shake”. Chance McKinney will open. McKinney is from Seattle and graduated from Washington State University. He has also toured with some of the biggest names in country music.

Tickets for Neal McCoy start at $33 and will go on sale online at the new fair website on June 15, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. Ticket prices include convenience fees and vendor fees.

Seats are limited and the show should sell out quickly. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and merchandise will be available for purchase. The Palouse Empire Fair Facebook page will announce when tickets go on sale.

The Palouse Empire Fair was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
